This reusable insulated BBQ meat resting bag is designed for thermal insulation while cooked food rests after grilling, roasting or smoking. The wide-mouth design makes it easier to place larger cuts inside, including brisket and other roasts, while the carry handles make the bag straightforward to move from the barbecue to the serving area.

Use it as a dedicated meat resting cover for barbecue cooking when you want to keep freshly cooked food enclosed during the resting stage. The bag is suitable for a range of roasts shown for this style of cooking, including brisket, lamb chops, tenderloin, pork butt, chicken and burgers. It is an accessory for resting and insulation, not a cooking vessel, so place food inside only after it has been removed from the grill, smoker or other cooking equipment.

Five-layer insulated construction

The bag uses a multi-layer construction made from Tyvek paper and aluminium foil. The interior has a reflective aluminium foil lining, while the layered design includes non-woven fabric, thermal insulation material and a PE layer. This construction is intended to provide thermal insulation around the food during resting.

The wide opening is secured with a zip closure, helping to enclose the contents during use. Carry handles are fitted to the outer bag, making it practical to lift and move when required. The interior lining is designed for contact with the resting food, and the product is listed with FCM certification.

Choose the size for your roast

Two size options are available. Compare the bag dimensions with the size and shape of the food you plan to rest before choosing:

• 14.9in option: approximately 14.9in wide, 21in high and 6.1in deep.
• 21in option: approximately 21in wide, 15in high and 5.1in deep.

The measurements shown for the two options use different proportions, so do not select by the stated length alone. Consider the overall width, height and depth of the bag, along with the dimensions of your brisket, roast or other cooked food. The bag is not specified as a universal fit for every joint or barbecue setup.

Cleaning and care

After use, wipe the inner lining and outer surface clean. Residues can be wiped away when wet, and the outer surface can be lightly wiped with a damp cloth. This bag is not dishwasher safe, so do not place it in a dishwasher. Allow the bag to dry before storing it for its next barbecue session.
