They are intended for grills with front control knobs. Model names and production years can vary, so compare the measurements and bar shape with your existing grill before fitting. Each replacement bar measures 388 mm long, 88 mm wide and 63 mm high. Compatibility is not universal across all Weber or other gas grills.

Using the replacement bars

Remove the existing heat plates and clean the burner area before placing the new bars in position. The shaped supports and cut-outs are designed to rest in the grill's existing support points, but the bars should sit securely and evenly before the cooking grates are replaced. Use them only in a compatible gas barbecue setup.

Once fitted, the bars form the protective layer between the burners and the cooking grates. They are suitable for normal barbecue cooking and can also be used when baking on a compatible gas grill.

Cleaning and care

Allow the grill and bars to cool fully before handling or cleaning. Remove loose cooking residue, then wash the stainless steel surfaces with warm water and a suitable washing-up solution. Dry the bars thoroughly before putting them back into the barbecue. Regular cleaning helps prevent a build-up of grease and burnt-on residue.
