Construction designed for everyday food preparation

The rack is made from 304 stainless steel and has a stated thickness of 10 mm. Its mesh-style grid has a smooth, polished surface with no burrs, while the rounded edges help provide a more comfortable finish when handling it. The close wire spacing creates a supportive cooking and cooling surface for a range of foods, including cakes, bread and grilled ingredients.

Some variants have ergonomic stainless steel handles for easier movement and to help prevent scalding when the rack is being handled. Other variants have elevated feet, with a choice of 1.5 cm or 3.5 cm feet. The available configuration may therefore affect the rack's height and how it sits over a tray or cooking surface.

Care and useful details

The smooth surface is suitable for use as a baking cooling rack, cake rack, bread rack, grilling grid, steaming grid or oil-draining mesh. For cleaning, wash by hand because this rack is not dishwasher safe. The product is model BB03, classified as a mesh accessory, and has an FCM certification listed.
