Protect your barbecue between cooks

This 420D barbecue cover is designed to sit over an outdoor grill or barbecue when it is not in use. The black fabric hood helps shield the covered appliance from rain, dust and outdoor exposure, keeping the cooking equipment covered between sessions. It is suitable for cooking, baking and barbecue equipment, but the cover must only be fitted once the grill has cooled down completely.

The cover is available in three size options, making it important to measure your barbecue before choosing. Select a cover that allows the hood to sit over the full appliance without forcing the fabric or leaving large areas exposed. 420D fabric with weather-resistant details

Made from black fabric in a 420D construction, the cover has a PU silver coating. The coating and cover design are intended to provide waterproof protection, while the material is presented as UV-resistant and fade-protective for outdoor use. Double-stitched seams and upgraded waterproof tape are used around the construction to help reinforce the covered enclosure and reduce water ingress through the stitched areas.

The cover has a simple black finish with a contrasting light-coloured handle and lower fastening strap. The handle gives you a practical point to hold when positioning or removing the hood. A buckle fastening and lower strap help secure the cover around the barbecue, while the lower drawcord shown at the base can be tightened around the bottom edge.

Choose the correct size

All three options are 110cm high, with different width and depth measurements. The available sizes are 77 x 70 x 110cm, 90 x 70 x 110cm and 100 x 60 x 110cm. Check your barbecue carefully before ordering, particularly if it has shelves or a wider upper section. The cover is not described as a universal fit, so dimensions should take priority over the appearance of the appliance or its brand.

Care and use

Allow the barbecue to cool fully before covering it. This is a fabric outdoor cover rather than a cooking surface: do not use it while the barbecue is hot or operating. It is not dishwasher safe and has no non-stick coating. Keep the cover clean and dry before storing it, and make sure the barbecue and cover are dry when possible before securing the hood in place.
