What should I know about the design?

The cylindrical metal body is open at the top and includes multiple small ventilation holes, together with larger openings near the base. A side-mounted handle includes a vertical metal guard and a black shaped grip. The guard helps separate the hand position from the main body during handling, but the starter and charcoal will become hot during use.

The measurements shown are for the starter body and handle area. Allow sufficient clearance around the item when using it outdoors, and keep it away from combustible surfaces, children and pets.

How should it be handled and stored?

Use the starter only in a suitable outdoor cooking area and handle it carefully when charcoal is hot. Do not touch the metal body after lighting until it has cooled completely. Empty ash only when the starter and its contents are fully cool, then keep the item dry between uses.
