Choose the right smoker tube

Select the shape and length that best suit the space available on your grill or smoking setup. The 6 inch options are shown at approximately 15.3 cm long, while the 12 inch options are shown at approximately 30.6 cm long. The available choices are 6 inch Round, 12 inch Round, 6 inch Hexagon and 12 inch Hexagon.

Using it for BBQ smoking

The perforated tube is intended to hold smoking wood during outdoor cooking. The illustrated use sequence shows smoking wood being placed into the tube, the contents being lit for around 3 to 5 minutes, and the flame then being blown out before the tube is placed on the grill. This allows the tube to sit alongside the food while smoke is produced for the cooking session.

Take care when lighting or moving the smoker tube. Use suitable heat protection around a hot grill, keep hands and loose materials away from the flame, and place the tube only where it can sit securely on your cooking grate. Never handle it as though it has cooled until you are certain it is safe to move.

Shape and construction

The body is made from metal and features a closely perforated surface with solid end sections. The round and hexagonal profiles provide a choice of form as well as length, so you can select the option that is most convenient for your barbecue layout and storage space.

After use

Allow the smoker tube and its contents to cool fully before handling or putting it away. Empty any remaining smoking material once it is safe to do so, then store the tube dry and ready for the next smoking session.
