Rotisserie forks for chicken and BBQ cooking
Keep poultry securely positioned on a rotisserie spit with this two-piece set of metal rotisserie BBQ forks. Each fork has a central hub, four pointed prongs and a side thumbscrew, giving the fork a practical way to grip chicken and other suitable BBQ food as it turns.
Supplied as a matching pair, the forks are placed at either end of the food on the spit. The prongs hold the meat from opposite sides, making this set useful for rotisserie chicken and similar BBQ cooking tasks. The compact fork design is also straightforward to store with your other rotisserie accessories.
What is included
- 2 x metal rotisserie BBQ forks
- Four pointed prongs on each fork
- Central hub with a side thumbscrew on each fork
How to choose the right fit
Check your rotisserie arrangement before buying, particularly the spit rod and the available space around the food. The hub opening is shown as approximately 11.5 mm in the dimensional drawing, so compare this measurement with your spit rod rather than assuming universal compatibility. The fork also has an M6 screw fitting shown in the technical dimensions.
Each fork is approximately 104 mm long. The dimensional drawing shows an overall fork spread of approximately 78 mm, with the narrower hub and prong positions measuring approximately 37.6 mm, 47.5 mm and 54.5 mm in the illustrated directions. The prongs are shown at approximately 5 mm diameter. The hub is shown at approximately 25 mm diameter and approximately 21.5 mm deep.
Using the rotisserie BBQ forks
- Slide one fork onto the spit and position it against one end of the chicken or other food.
- Place the food onto the pointed prongs, keeping it centred as far as your rotisserie setup allows.
- Position the second fork at the opposite end and tighten the thumbscrews to hold the arrangement in place.
- Check that the food and forks have sufficient clearance from the BBQ before starting the rotisserie.
Always compare the dimensions and connection details with your own rotisserie equipment. The supplied specification describes the forks as suitable for BBQ and chicken, but it does not identify a universal BBQ or spit model fit.
Material and care
The forks are made from metal and have a not-coated finish. They are described as easily cleaned, which is useful after handling marinades, cooking juices and BBQ residue. Clean them after use and dry them thoroughly before storing with your rotisserie equipment. No specific dishwasher or cleaning chemical guidance is provided, so avoid assuming that either is suitable.
