Keep smaller foods on the barbecue grate

This PTFE fibreglass BBQ grill mat provides a fine mesh cooking surface for foods that could otherwise fall through wider grill bars. Use it for vegetables, prawns, bread, bacon, meat pieces and skewers when you want to cook directly on the barbecue without placing delicate ingredients straight on the grate.

The mesh format is also useful for round barbecue setups. The mat can be cut to a round shape to fit a kettle grill or other round grill, as shown in the product guidance. Always compare the mat dimensions with your cooking area before selecting an option.

PTFE mesh construction

Made from fibreglass mesh with a PTFE non-stick surface, this grill liner is designed as a flexible barrier between the food and the barbecue grate. Its closely woven structure supports smaller ingredients while still allowing the mat to be used across a grill surface. The mesh is shown in black, with the product images also illustrating brown and other option labels. Actual colour or finish should be checked against the selected variant name before ordering.

Choose the right shape and size

Three dimensions are illustrated for the mesh mats: a rectangular 30 x 40cm format, a rectangular 36 x 42cm format and a round 40 x 40cm format. The rectangular mats can be used as supplied, while the sheet-style format can also be trimmed into a round shape where appropriate. Measure the usable area of your grill and leave enough room for the mat to sit securely and flat before cooking.
