Rotisserie cooking for outdoor grills

Stainless steel spit and adjustable supports

The spit rod is made from stainless steel and measures approximately 106cm overall. The rod diameter is approximately 0.8cm. Two adjustable meat forks are shown for securing food to the rod, while the collar and balance components help position the load along the spit. A black handle provides a separate point for handling the rod when it is not being driven by the motor.

The fixing brackets are designed to be mounted at the sides of the grill. Before buying, measure the available width of your barbecue and compare it with the kit's applicable maximum grill width of 77cm. The overall spit length is not the same as the usable cooking width, so allow room for the motor, handle and side brackets when checking your setup.

Battery-powered rotisserie motor

The black motor housing is powered by two AA batteries. Batteries are not included, so these need to be obtained separately before use. The motor housing measures approximately 15.5cm high, 11.1cm wide and 7.3cm deep. The visible on/off switch is positioned on the housing for straightforward operation.

Because this is a battery-powered motor, no mains power connection is specified. Install the batteries as directed by the motor housing, ensure the spit is properly supported, and check that the food rotates freely without contacting the grill or cooking surface.

Keep the motor housing and battery compartment away from water, and remove the AA batteries if the motor will be stored for an extended period.
