This silicone BBQ basting brush is designed for applying oil, sauce and marinades during grilling, while also working as a kitchen oil brush for cooking and a pastry brush for baking. Its silicone bristles spread liquids across meat, vegetables, grill-cooked food and pastry, making it useful for both outdoor cooking and everyday kitchen preparation.

The brush has a stainless steel handle with silicone bristles and a listed non-stick finish. Two overall lengths are available: the 20cm Small size for more compact kitchen tasks, and the 30.5cm Large size when you would prefer a longer reach across a grill or cooking surface. Both brush sizes have a 4cm brush width.

Suitable for barbecue and kitchen use

Use it to coat food with cooking oil before or during grilling, brush barbecue sauce over food, apply marinades, or spread glaze over ingredients. Away from the barbecue, it can be used for cooking and baking tasks such as brushing oil or other mixtures over pastry.

The stated heat-resistance range is -40°C to 230°C. Do not expose the brush to temperatures above the stated 230°C limit. The brush is intended for applying oils, sauces and similar coatings rather than for moving or turning food.
