Monitor food and cooking conditions together

The probe incorporates food and ambient temperature sensing, so you can check the internal temperature of the food while also monitoring the surrounding cooking temperature. The food temperature detection range is 0°C to 85°C, while the ambient temperature sensor covers 0°C to 300°C. This makes the thermometer suitable for temperature monitoring during oven cooking, grilling and smoking, within the stated measurement ranges.

Readings are available in either °C or °F, with a stated accuracy of ±1°C or ±1.8°F and a response time of 3 seconds. A temperature calibration range of -7°C to +7°C, or -12.6°F to +12.6°F, is also provided for adjustment when required.

Wireless app monitoring for outdoor cooking

Bluetooth LE 5.0 provides a wireless connection between the thermometer and the monitoring app. The stated range is up to 30 metres or 98 feet in an open area. Actual range can vary depending on walls, appliances and other obstructions, so position the monitoring device with your cooking setup and surroundings in mind.

Probe design and charging

The 116.5 x 8 x 8mm probe has a food-grade stainless steel probe section and a PEEK handle. Its IP67 rating is specified for the probe. After use, return the probe to its charging dock, where it can be fully charged in approximately 30 minutes. The probe battery lasts for more than 8 hours, making it suited to extended cooking sessions within that stated battery life.

The thermometer uses an AAA battery type, and the charging dock includes a battery status button and charge indicator. The temperature unit can be changed between Celsius and Fahrenheit to match the way you normally cook.

Choosing it for your setup
