This digital meat thermometer uses wireless Bluetooth communication, a standalone LCD display on the booster and a rechargeable probe system for monitoring meat during grilling, smoking and general kitchen cooking.

The BFOUR/BFOUR+ application provides smart control, while the booster gives you a clear local display of the current and preset temperatures. The available versions are the one-probe BF-30 and two-probe BF-40, so you can select the configuration that suits the way you cook. The two-probe option is useful when you want to monitor two temperatures at the same time.

Temperature readings are designed for internal cooking temperatures from 0°C to 100°C, or 32°F to 212°F. The ceramic handle temperature range is listed as 0°C to 400°C, or 32°F to 752°F. The ambient temperature of the handle is not displayed, so use the stated ranges as a guide to the thermometer's intended temperature monitoring areas.

Monitor from a practical distance

The wireless control range is up to 100 metres, or 328 feet, where there is no obstruction. This gives you more flexibility around the cooking area, whether you are preparing food on a barbecue, watching a smoker or working in the kitchen. The booster has a large LCD screen for checking readings locally, while the smart application offers a connected way to view and manage the thermometer.

Designed for repeat cooking sessions

The probe charges in approximately two minutes and provides up to 40 hours of probe battery life. The booster takes approximately three hours to charge and has a stated life of up to 90 hours. A 500 mAh battery capacity is specified. The probe uses SUS304/Zirconia material, and the thermometer has an IP67 waterproof rating.

Which version should you choose?

Choose the 1 Probe BF-30 if you need one temperature reading at a time. The 2 Probe BF-40 provides two probes for monitoring two readings simultaneously. Before ordering, check that the selected probe configuration is the right fit for your cooking routine.
